A visual I directed for Ashenda, an annual festival celebrating Ethiopian women and girls. Inspired by BeeLyn Naihwet’s poem The Dance of Tomorrow, it&#38;nbsp;weaves poetry, movement, and Tigrayan sounds into a meditation on joy as resistance.

	A bit about me:&#38;nbsp;I work at the intersection of creative storytelling and strategy, shaping how films reach their audiences. With 7+ years working with Screen Media, STARZ, Blue Harbor Entertainment, and Participant Media, I’ve helped indie gems cut through the noise and live in the market and culture.

I’ve also expanded into producing and directing with a focus on Black diaspora stories. At the core of my work in both distribution and filmmaking is a love of storytelling. For me, distribution isn’t just business. It’s about giving bold and meaningful stories their moment.
